Our Inspector's Highlights

For a Vegas-style dining experience, head for The Buffet at Viejas. In addition to the abundant spread, unlimited beer, wine and champagne are included along with a showcase of decadent desserts, like crème brûlée and salted caramel chocolate parfait.
The hub of the resort is the 250,000-square-foot casino with its wide array of gaming selections. Between 40 gaming tables, 2,500 slots, a high-tech bingo hall and off-track betting, gamers will find something to suit.
Outside, recline on a lounger in the expansive pool, sink into the Jacuzzi and take in mountain views, or go for a private cabana with individual bar service.
In the summer months, the green space transforms into Concerts in the Park, providing an intimate setting to see big-name acts. Headliners like Tom Petty and LeAnn Rimes have graced the stage.
What better way to spend your winnings than scoring some bargains at the Viejas Outlets next door. Browse the shops of well-known brands like Coach, Ralph Lauren, Nike and Nautica and enjoy the serene, winding paths lined with lush, native plants, fire pits and waterfalls.

VIPs are granted a host of discounts and perks through the VClub card membership.
The adjacent shopping center is family friendly, with a park that doubles as an ice skating rink during the holiday season and an entertainment space in the summer.

The Rooms

Dressed in chocolate browns and creams and accented with details like chrome lamps and leather tufted headboards, the rooms are stylish and comfortable.
Deluxe rooms are just that — they feature down pillows, luxury linens, Sealy Posturepedic mattresses, flat-panel HDTVs, quartz vanities with vessel sinks, large glass showers with rainfall shower heads, his and hers robes and Wolfgang Puck coffee.
The 34 suites have additional amenities, some of which include Jacuzzi tubs, marble and quartz counter tops, bar/kitchen areas, business workspaces, porcelain floors and two-way fireplaces.
The penthouse suite is 2,000 square feet and features two bedrooms, a bar area, living room, media room with large recliner chairs, a hand-carved acacia dining room table, and a balcony with a dual fireplace and panoramic views of the pool and rolling hills.

The Restaurants

Food choices are abundant at Viejas. The Grove Steakhouse is known for its dry-aged, bone-in porterhouse steak and fresh Maine lobster.
The chef sources organic produce from area farms and rotates the menu regularly, adding modern twists on well-known classics, such coffee-crusted wagyu steak with lobster tail and the miso-glazed Chilean sea bass.
The Buffet at Viejas is a popular choice for those who crave variety: from crab legs, jumbo shrimp cocktail and sushi, to prime rib, slow-cooked roasts and ethnic delights.
Authentic Asian bites can be found at Ginger Noodle Bar, while fresh California cuisine is served up daily at Locale Kitchen & Lounge. You’ll also find two coffee bars and a café that serves casual eats like salads and burgers.
