Sky Club Spa

Hong Kong’s sanctuary in the clouds
VERIFIED LUXURY

Sky Club Spa is a three-level escape sitting near the top of Hong Kong’s Royal Garden hotel. Added to the Forbes Travel Guide Recommended property in 2016, the spa blends in wonderfully with The Royal Garden’s longstanding regal reputation with mosaic tiles, gold embellishments and a sparkling welcome lobby. Once you pass the impressive entrance, you’ll find treatment rooms offering various services, from the traditional (Chinese Meridian Massage) to the time-sensitive (on-the-go facials).

Even away from the massage table, Sky Club Spa hits all the right spots. The requisite sauna, steam room and a fully stocked gym are nearby. Still, the appropriately named Sky Pool may be the spa’s most noteworthy attraction. With Instagram-worthy views of the Tsim Sha Tsui financial district and gorgeous Victoria Harbour at every turn, the rooftop spot is as revered for its positioning as for its sheer peacefulness.

Our Inspector's Highlights

  • A tone of serenity is set in spacious treatment rooms accentuated with dark wood floors, muted lighting and delightful floral arrangements.
  • While there is a complete menu of tantalizing treatments, the Thai Pouch Massage proves a tasty choice that includes a 60-minute pampering, welcome tea and butterfly cookies.
  • If you really want to sample the hotel’s acclaimed culinary program during your spa day, reserve the Royal Garden Harbour Spa Suite Experience for Two. This delicious service consists of an aromatic bath, oil scrub, a signature massage and a healthy, two-course meal.
  • Though draped in subtle Mediterranean elegance, the stunning Sky Pool isn’t merely a prime photo backdrop. With its 82-degree temperature setting and underwater speakers, the 25-meter beauty also proves worth a dip.
  • Feel like a king or queen with the Royal Time Ritual. Using Natura Bissé's de-stress dry oil, the treatment zaps tension from your head and face and follows it up with a full-body massage employing Balinese and Swedish techniques.

Things to Know

  • If working all day long at the computer is taking its toll on your body, try the spa’s Office Syndrome Therapy. It helps with tight necks and shoulders, lower back pain and wrist ailments.
  • The state-of-the-art fitness center is filled with the latest TechnoGym equipment. But beyond being a place to use treadmills and reclining bikes, the gym hosts classes in several areas: general fitness, Pilates, corrective exercise and more.
  • With a Sky Club membership, non-hotel guests not only gain access to the gym and pool, but they also get discounts on spa treatments, personal training sessions and the property’s food and beverage options as well.
