Trellis Spa

Houston's European-inspired spa

You likely will forget you’re in Houston upon visiting Trellis Spa. On the outside, the European-inspired spa resembles a villa with statuesque architecture and manicured gardens. While on the inside, calming, neutral colors fill a grand, light-filled reception and hallway that leads to elegant treatment rooms.

Find respite in the new Soaking Pools and Garden experience. Circulate among the outdoor hot tub, ambient pool and cold shower. Then retreat to private cabanas, rocking chairs or the meditation garden. For more relaxation, head back inside to the Tranquility Room and Reflection Pool.

If you need sustenance, choose from healthy fare in the new treetop dining room that overlooks The Houstonian Club's famous oak tree. It serves breakfast, lunch and dinner, along with complimentary herbal teas, flavored waters and snacks throughout the day.

Our Inspector's Highlights
  • Before any treatment at the Houston spa, visit the Soaking Pools and Garden, a 6,500-square foot outdoor water circuit that helps circulation, cardiovascular strength, stress relief and immunity.
  • With 21 treatment rooms, there’s plenty of room to accommodate spa-goers on a given day. The 26,500-square-foot facility is the largest luxury spa in Texas.
  • The relaxation area is stocked with bottled water, fruit-infused water, juice, coffee, tea, fresh fruits and the spa's signature shortbread confetti cookies.
  • The HydraFacial delivers immediate results. Using a series of liquid exfoliants, antioxidants and therapeutic LED light, the high-tech facial targets fine lines, oily and acne-prone skin, rosacea and hyperpigmentation. It minimizes large pores, improves skin texture and helps repair sun damage.
  • Sink further into bliss in the Tranquility Room and Reflection Pool. Sprawl out on a chaise lounge in the quiet space and gaze at the pool with spurting water in the center of the space.

Things to Know
  • Call Trellis Spa at least two weeks in advance to book your appointment.
  • The spa is busier on the weekends, so keep that in mind when booking.

The Treatments
  • To banish deep-seated tension, try the CBD massage. Using CBD and essential oils, a therapist will customize a rubdown to fit your needs with Swedish, deep tissue techniques or a combination of both.
  • If your legs are exhausted and achy, the Tired Legs Pedicure is the perfect pedicure for you. It starts with exfoliation, followed by a cool gel, which is massaged into your legs to aid in rejuvenation.
  • When a detox is in order, opt for the MLX i3 Dome. The body treatment employs far infrared rays to spur detoxification, boost circulation, stimulate metabolism, increase energy and relieve with inflammation.

  • After being out in the Houston sun, a vitamin C facial is a great way to restore your skin from any damage. This treatment uses a Natura Bissé serum containing a high potency of vitamin C that helps to stimulate collagen and nourish your skin.

The Facilities
  • There are separate male and female locker rooms, each equipped with its own wet areas.
  • You’ll find showers and restrooms within the locker rooms and then to one side, a Jacuzzi, a rainfall shower and a steam room.
  • Between both wet areas there’s a coed saltwater float pool where you can take a dip, laze around on one of the chaise lounge chairs and snack on some refreshments.
