It’s easy to leave the stress of day-to-day life behind when you set foot inside The Spa at Four Seasons Hotel London at Park Lane. For starters, the spa’s location on the 10th floor of the popular London hotel places you a world away from the city’s bustling streets.

The design of this Forbes Travel Guide Four-Star spa is a breath of fresh air, with natural light pouring in through floor-to-ceiling windows and subtle touches of white, silver, beige and ivory popping up throughout the spa alongside warmer touches like dark wood walls, red carpeting a modern fireplace in the coed lounge.

Our Inspector's Highlights
  • Each guest arriving to the city spa is offered an energizing pear, ginger and basil shot to enjoy while filling out a consultation form.
  • A cloud-shaped pearlescent reception desk sits atop a wooden floor, with shelves of spa products displayed on both sides.
  • Just beyond the reception desk is the waiting area, with beige leather dish chairs, white moth orchids and floor-to-ceiling windows offering a lovely view of the London skyline.
  • Once the treatment is finished, guests are then shown to their own private relaxation pods, which are closed off by discreet curtains and feature a lovely lounger bed with a pillow.
  • Before departure, guests are offered water and herbal tea, which is graciously served alongside bite-sized snacks. On our visit to the trendy spa, we enjoyed raw almonds and orange peel coated in vanilla yogurt, served alongside a pot of hot chamomile tea.
Things to Know
  • To find the spa, venture up the 10th floor of the hotel. Its wooden double doors are quite hard to miss.
  • There are no separate female and male relaxation lounges at The Spa at Four Seasons Hotel London at Park Lane; instead, you enjoy a coed pre-treatment lounge with soft loungers, a fireplace and hot tea at the Forbes Travel Guide Four-Star spa.
  • Don’t worry about bringing your own toiletries because the locker room is filled with body lotion, razors, combs, cotton products, hair styling products and more are all available to help you get ready.
The Treatments
  • It’s not hard to see why the Personalised Facial is so popular. The skilled therapists offer their expert advice while employing techniques catered for your skincare goals.
  • For a more intense facial, the CACI Non-Surgical Facelift uses waveforms and frequencies in-tune with your body’s own bio-electrical field. This unique experience yields immediate results.
  • Consistent with Four Seasons’ philosophy, the Personalised Body Massage uses a combination of techniques based on your needs. Expect Swedish, aromatherapy, deep muscle massage, lymphatic drainage, hot stones or a combination of them all.
The Facilities
  • The wet areas are conveniently centralized in a calming space between the locker room and coed pre-treatment lounge.
  • Gray slate is used for the flooring and surround of the vitality pool, which features candles on its edges, a button to activate jet streams and a submerged lounging bench made of metal bars.
  • Across from the London spa’s pool is the herbal steam room, with enough space to fit four or five guests comfortably.
