I'm very excited to say that things are warming up in Auckland. We're just weeks away from spring and the sun is already shining. By Auckland standards, it has been a fairly dry, mild winter, so things are looking hopeful for the months ahead. It doesn't tend to get too windy here (unlike our capital Wellington) so if you can find a spot in the sun it’s happy days. New Zealand is known for having very radiant heat so sun safety is vital. Things are only going to heat up now as we approach the stunning Kiwi summer time.
Admittedly, dusk and dawn are still pretty chilly, so you’ll want to rug up for night time activities, but you can probably leave the thermals at home.
