Service at Noble Court is polished — especially for Beijing — and professional, and the staff has a reasonably good grasp of English and can help guide you through the menu if you’re unfamiliar with Cantonese cooking or Chinese ingredients (fish maw and wolfberries, for example). When we last dined at the restaurant, our reservationist provided us with an overview of the menu and explained that no dress code was necessary. Upon arrival at the fine-dining restaurant, we were warmly greeted and escorted to a table and our waiter thoughtfully brought us a magazine to read since we were dining alone. Our waiter also offered helpful recommendations and was polite and friendly throughout the meal. Wine service was not as thorough as food service, however, so if you’re a true oenophile, it’s best to stick to your gut instinct. Nevertheless, in terms of restaurant service in Beijing, Noble Court does a good job.
