A venerable estate in Virginia's wine country

45 Rooms / 3 Suites

As you round the circular driveway of the majestic Keswick Hall and Golf Club, you might think you’re about to embark on a vacation at a privately owned estate — and you’re sort of right. The former private mansion, which dates back to 1912, now serves as a luxurious hotel and country club situated on 600 acres of pristine Virginia land in the foothills of the Blue Ridge Mountains. With only 48 guest rooms, you’ll feel privately pampered as you soak in your claw-foot tub and relax in your newly refreshed space after a day exploring the property’s trails or playing a round of golf on the new Pete Dye course. Nights can be spent dining at Fossett’s Restaurant or in Villa Crawford, where the menus feature seasonal dishes inspired by the onsite chef’s garden. Between the personal service, endless activities and vistas of rolling pastures, we don’t blame you if you never want to leave the hotel.
