Dallas’ nightlife is spread into three different “party” areas, each with its own vibe. Greenville, Uptown and Main Street each have a different atmosphere and different crowds, so you may find yourself being drawn to one particular spot more than others. Greenville is mainly a young, dive-bar scene where you'll find a lot of college students — expect rowdy. Main Street/Downtown is where the most expensive clubs are; there are about five or six high-end, "ultra-lounge" type clubs. And if you put Greenville and Main Street together, you would get Uptown. Note that everyone still really dresses up for Uptown's upscale-casual bars.
