Long Island and The Hamptons

Windswept dunes, pounding ocean surf, manicured lawns leading to multimillion-dollar mansions, fast European specialty cars and mega-yachts and an occasional celebrity sighting are what you can expect in the Hamptons. Each town— Westhampton, East Hampton, Southampton, Bridgehampton, Wainscott, Water Mill, Amagansett, the historic whaling community of Sag Harbor, and finally Montauk — lies along the South Fork of Long Island connected mainly by the two-lane Montauk Highway.

But it’s not all about the high life here — visitors and locals enjoy the area’s rich art scene, its local wineries, fine boutiques, and the local bounty at the flourishing farmer’s markets.
