What is the average price of a room at The Chase Park Plaza?

Holidays aside, the average price of a room at Forbes Travel Guide Recommended Chase Park Plaza won’t vary too much throughout the year. You can expect rates for a deluxe room at the luxury hotel to run around $199 per night, not including taxes. Rates go up slightly for bigger rooms, like a deluxe queen that will cost $209 per night, or a one-bedroom suite that’s $219. If you book during big holidays like Christmas, Easter or Fourth of July, be aware that prices are subject to increase. Also note the hotel’s cancelation policy: You must cancel your reservation prior to 24-hours before your expected date of arrival, or else you will be charged one night’s stay plus tax. As a general courtesy to the hotel, we suggest you cancel as soon as possible so that the front desk can free up your room for other guests.

Where is The Betsy Hotel located?

The Betsy Hotel is located on Ocean Drive in the heart of South Beach in Miami’s famed Art Deco District. Don’t worry about the sounds of South Beach’s wild nightlife scene keeping you up at all hours, however, because this luxury Miami hotel is situated on the quieter, northern end of the neon-hued block, where noise from the busy streets usually isn’t an issue; traffic, on the other hand, is another story. That said, the Forbes Travel Guide Four-Star hotel’s location is truly idyllic for any stay in Miami, with the beach just across the street and, if you so desire, the dining and nightlife madness just a few blocks to the south.

What is the dress code at Aubergine?

L’Auberge is part of the sophisticated chain of Relais & Châteaux properties.  Breakfast attire is smart casual. What restaurants does Hotel Monteleone have?

New Orleans is known for its flavorful Cajun and Creole cuisines, and the Hotel Monteleone’s self-described “Louisiana fusion” restaurant Criollo (Spanish for “Creole”) is a good starting point for those unaccustomed to the city’s dining scene. In 2011, the hotel underwent a large renovation that transformed the restaurant space into a chic, relaxing destination with an open kitchen, two private dining rooms and literary memorabilia ensconced in glass cases for an enjoyable breakfast, lunch or dinner. Order dinner dishes like the grilled veal chop with a potato soufflé and whiskey-morel sauce, and the Perdido Pass snapper with jumbo lump crab, orange-and-fennel slaw, roasted sweet pepper and ancho-lime butter.

Adjoining the restaurant is the 25-seat Carousel Bar & Lounge, the city’s legendary revolving bar, which has attracted numerous celebrities, from William Faulkner to Rod Stewart, since it first opened in 1949. The bar serves lighter fare for lunch and dinner, like blue crab and crawfish beignets as well as fried shrimp and oyster po’ boys. Also renovated in 2011, the lounge surrounding the Carousel Bar is also a retreat from busy Royal Street, with comfortable sofas and chairs situated intimately for small groups and those who just want to relax with a drink without riding the merry-go-round. The signature classic cocktail, the Vieux Carré (Hennessy, Benedictine, rye whiskey, sweet vermouth, bitters), was invented here and is a must-try.

    Where is Hotel Monteleone located?

Hotel Monteleone is located at 214 Royal Street, between Iberville and Bienville streets in the heart of the French Quarter. You might notice the tiled Monteleone crest in the entryway to the art gallery located on the corner of Royal and Bienville. That’s because Sicilian nobleman, Antonio Monteleone, the founder of the hotel, once ran his shoe factory at that very location. Most guests find it easy to get around on foot because the hotel is within walking distance of numerous attractions, including Bourbon Street, iconic restaurants such as Galatoire’s and Antoine’s, Jackson Square, the French Market, the Mississippi River and more. Though a beautiful stroll on horse-drawn carriage or a ride in a pedicab are perfect for putting your legs up. The Canal Street car line is also within walking distance of the New Orleans hotel, if you want a quaint ride to City Park, the Garden District or all the way Uptown.

What restaurants does Hotel Blackhawk have?

Hotel Blackhawk’s signature restaurant is Bix Bistro, which serves up contemporary American dishes in a lively atmosphere on the first floor of the building. A stylish palette of rich purple, black and white pays homage to the jazz scene that hometown hero Bix Beiderbecke — whom the restaurant is named after — was a part of back in the 1920s. Dine on hearty dishes such as rack of lamb with mint jalapeño gastrique and bacon-and-fennel-braised cabbage or three-cheese eggplant with roasted tomato saffron sauce and sautéed summer squash. And if you don’t feel like leaving your cozy guest room, order room service off the Bix Bistro menu — graze on a cheese flight with seasonal fruits, nuts and housemade crackers and pair it with a glass of full-bodied pinot noir, or choose something heavier, like breadcrumb-encrusted mahi mahi with honey-mango barbecue sauce, parsley and pineapple-mango salad.

Head to the adjacent Bix Lounge for a popular Sunday brunch with unlimited mimosas or Bloody Marys and live music — jazz, of course. The rich buffet brunch spread includes an eggs Benedict station, deep-fried French toast and biscuits and sausage gravy. For a more casual breakfast scene, grab a bite at Beignet Done That, a coffee shop located just off the lobby that serves Starbucks brews and fresh beignets. It’s a good stop to make before heading out for a day of sightseeing around the Quad Cities hotel.

What’s the best time to visit The Allison Inn & Spa in Oregon?

With a temperate coastal climate, the Willamette Valley—home to the luxury resort The Allison Inn & Spa—is alluring to visit any time of the year. The time when the area most shines is fall, which brings mild temperatures and the excitement of harvest and crush. Hazelnuts are harvested and wild mushrooms sprout. The summer’s reliable sunshine draws visitors to the Forbes Travel Guide Four-Star hotel, thanks to temperatures that hover around 80 degrees and events such as the Pinot Noir Festival in late July. The Willamette Valley's extended spring means you'll see orchard blossoms and bud breaks on the area’s thousands of acres of grapevines. It’s rainy during the winter months, but it’s also when the Oregon Truffle Festival takes place. Winter is a quieter time, a chance to cozy up next to in-room fireplaces and observe the flourishing green hillsides.

What are the rooms like at The Wort Hotel?

Jackson Hole’s only National Historic Hotel of America and on the National Register of Historic Places, The Wort Hotel opened in 1941 when downtown’s street were still dirt. The dirt is long gone, but little else has changed on the hotel’s exterior, including the red rock trim the Wort brothers quarried themselves in the Gros Ventre (pronounced “Gro Vont” in Jacksonese) Mountains bounding the east side of Jackson Hole. The interior is another story though: Fili D’oro linens; a permanent art collection with nearly 100 original pieces (some of which are used in six roomy, themed suites) by Western and wildlife artists; rich, deep colors; hand-carved suite doors and custom wooden furniture; and double-pillow-top mattresses are recent additions. Altogether, you get an Old World rustic Western elegance you can’t find anywhere else in the valley.
