What are the best summer activities for families at The Resort at Pelican Hill?

The Resort at Pelican Hill is introducing fresh family programming this summer. Large families staying in our multi-bedroom Villas will find something for everyone, whether they’re traveling with toddlers, kids or teens.

Beginning in July, Camp Pelican launches brand new themed half-day and full-day programs for children ages 4-12. Daily themes like Treasure Island Tuesdays and Animal Adventure Sundays offer different indoor and outdoor activities, crafts and games. The Lizard Wizard visits once a week with his reptile zoo, and children’s yoga sessions feature storytelling, yoga and art. On weekend evenings, kids visit for Dinner & Movie Nights at Camp Pelican.

The Resort’s newest program for teens, Latitude, features its own Villa opening this summer with a music room, video game lounge and movie-screening venue. Teens have the option to just relax in the Villa, or join in activities like photography hikes, special fitness classes and beach sports matches. Every evening, one of our luxurious Coliseum Pool cabanas is set aside just for teens.

Pelican Hill also welcomes infants and toddlers, with complimentary cribs, high chairs and diaper genies provided upon request inside our Bungalows and Villas. Our youngest guests can also visit Camp Pelican accompanied by a parent or care-taker.

Finally, families seeking quality time together will enjoy our Caffè’s picnic baskets to take along to Crystal Cove Beach. We provide complimentary lounges, umbrellas, towels and children’s sand toys — all set up right on the sand for our guests. Bikes are available for exploring nearby bluff-top trails and hiking maps are available, as well. The Concierge will arrange numerous nearby ocean activities and theme park excursions, including Disneyland.
