Tipping in Helsinki is not expected yet it is greatly appreciated. There won't be a "service" on the bill because it is always included when ever you buy a meal or just a cup of coffee. The minimum salaries are quite good in Finland, so no need to feel bad about not tipping. Taxi drivers don't expect a tip after the drive, and believe me you don't feel like tipping either because the gap fares in Helsinki are the fifth most expensive in the world.
If you want to tip, feel free to do it - I'm sure you will get an extra smile if you do!
