The guest rooms at InterContinental Hong Kong are filled with special amenities. To start, all suites and almost two-thirds of the guest rooms at the Forbes Travel Guide Five-Star hotel offer large, nearly floor-to-ceiling windows with amazing views of the Victoria Harbour and Hong Kong Island, which is particularly beautiful at night when it’s all lit up. The bedroom features a “Butler” button, so you can get assistance with whatever you need at any time. Alternatively you can press the “Instant Service” button on the phone for 24-hour help. You’ll find updated technology, including a Bose sound system with an iPod dock, a large flat-screen 37-inch Sharp Aquos TV with cable channels so you can catch international news, a panel to plug in your laptops, and if you need a converter, just let the staff know and it’ll bring one right up to your room. A newspaper will be delivered to your room each day, and you’ll find other nice touches, such as two full-length mirrors, an ironing board and iron, a coffee and tea set, a mini-bar, a chaise lounge to sit in while you look out over the harbor, a safe and a shoe horn and shoe brush.
The bathrooms are fully stocked with supplies — if you left home without something, you’re sure to find it here. There are plush slippers in two sizes — medium and large — as well as two soft, white 100 percent cotton robes. You’ll have all the bath products you could ask for: razors, toothbrushes, toothpaste, shoe mitts, cotton swabs, cotton pads, shower caps and hair ties. Plus, Agraria brand lemon-verbena shampoo, conditioner, body wash, body lotion, hand soap and bath soap are in the guest rooms and Ferragamo bath amenities in the suites and Club rooms.
