Blackberry Farm offers two bars. Within the Main House of the Forbes Travel Guide Four-Star hotel, The Dogwood opens at noon every day and has two crackling fireplaces to cozy up next to with a cocktail, as well as a mountain view best admired from the veranda. There is also a bar within The Barn at Blackberry Farm, which overlooks the farm's pastures crawling with herds of sheep. Drinks at The Barn Bar are served starting at 6 p.m. Both bars specialize in whiskey and offer such fine selections as Pappy Van Winkle's Family Reserve 23-year Frankfort. Several of the specialty cocktails incorporate whiskey as well, such as the Sazerac, made with Russell's Reserve Rye Whiskey, Absente and sugar, garnished with a twist of lemon.
