Vdara Hotel & Spa

A modern Las Vegas boutique hotel
VERIFIED LUXURY
Guest suites with open floor plans, custom-designed artwork and a two-floor Five-Star spa are just a few of the details that set Vdara Hotel & Spa, an upscale, smoke-free, non-gaming boutique hotel, apart from the rest of the Las Vegas Strip.

As one of the major players in the massive CityCenter complex, this Four-Star all-suite hotel is modern in design (the brainchild of famed architect Rafael Vinoly) with large picture windows and frameless glass-enclosed showers in each of the luxe guest rooms.

Our Inspector's Highlights
  • A welcome change of pace from the array of bustling, giant casino hotels that you’ll practically trip over in Las Vegas, this Four-Star hotel achieves a nice residential vibe in equal parts due to being an all-suites hotel and having no casino.
  • Escape to The Spa at Vdara, a Five-Star haven where you can get pampered with a Knesko Gemstone Infused Facial that includes gua sha or a custom massage.
  • Vdara’s décor can be described as both modern and bright with its clean lines, pops of color and base palette of grays and blacks.
  • Wall-to-wall windows in many of the suites present a clear view of the Strip as well as of the mountains in the distance.
  • As mentioned, the Las Vegas hotel offers no casino within its walls, which speaks to the type of hotel it wants to be: sophisticated and secluded. We appreciate the break from the noise of shuffling cards and flashing lights.
Things to Know
  • Dining options are limited compared to the other mega-resorts found along the Strip, but Vdara’s sister property ARIA is close by and offers extra variety.
  • If you’re looking to hit the tables and the slot machines, you can head next door to ARIA Resort & Casino or over the bridge to Bellagio Las Vegas.
The Rooms
  • Vdara is a suites-only hotel, so it’s only natural that its suites be impeccably decorated. All suites feature a black-and-white color scheme with pops of chartreuse.
  • Where there isn’t wall-to-wall windows, there’s glossy contemporary photography on the walls. And all of the suites at Vdara offer views of the Strip and mountains.
  • Even the most basic of suites has a two-burner electric cooktop, dining table and under-counter refrigerator.
  • Modern and contemporary, the bathroom is decked out in neutral colors like off-white and gray, instead of the black and white palette in your room. Luckily, you can jump into a tub that’s separate from your completely clear-glass shower.
The Restaurants
  • Market Café Vdara is Vdara Hotel & Spa’s cool and casual restaurant with a strong emphasis on fresh, seasonal and organic ingredients. The “California Coastal” menu includes dishes such as a chicken caprese sandwich with market-fresh tomatoes and mozzarella.
  • If you’d rather eat in the comforts of your own room, the café doubles as a boutique grocery store stocked with specialty goods from brands like Dean & Deluca.
  • For more food options, head over to sister property ARIA. There you can choose from spots like Din Tai Fung for Taiwanese dumplings and Carbone for popular Italian fare.
