As you might expect at a fine dining restaurant like Allegro, there’s a creative and well-edited selection of artisanal cheeses on offer. Many people start their meal with cheese, but at Allegro, we think the cheese course works best as a bridge between the savory courses and dessert. Chef Enzo Febbraro has created an amazing cheese course that reflects the restaurant’s Italian heritage. The mozzarella platter includes a section of delicious, housemade burrata that’s softer in the middle and firm on the edges. The platter also features smoked provolone and sheep’s milk ricotta. You can add roasted peppers, mixed olives, roasted mushrooms and braised artichokes for an additional charge.
