B&B Ristorante offers only 100 percent Italian wines, and uses four prerequisites to choose wines that gel with chef Mario Batali’s cuisine. Those four tenets are:
- Does the winery use sustainable farming practices?
- Is the wine a distinct expression of its style?
- What are the most dynamic wines belonging to our family?
- Which wines are most loved by B&B’s wine team?
Using these four components, the Las Vegas restaurant has chosen an extensive list of wines that includes verticals of Angelo Gaja Costa Russi barbaresco from 2007, 2005, 2000, 1999, 1985 and 1982, a Taurasi Riserva Mastroberardino 1968 for $1,200, and a Giacomo Conterno Monfortino 1958 for a cool $2,750.
You’ll find sparkling, white and red wines on the menu, with wines on the list divided up by regions of Italy. And if you don’t feel like browsing the whole phone-book-thick list of vino, just ask one of the sommeliers on staff to help you choose the right wine to pair with your meal, or just to celebrate, while you’re at B&B Ristorante.
