Javier’s is located on the main casino floor at ARIA Resort & Casino. Stopping in for a fine Mexican meal is a great way to get away from the gambling action and transport yourself to a Moorish-inspired Spanish mission while enjoying gourmet food and some of the best tequilas and cocktails around. As Javier’s was created by star restaurant designer Dodd Mitchell, the best views are inside the restaurant. The back wall features the world’s largest chainsaw art installation, a 25-foot panel filled with skeletons depicting the Mayan creation story and modern Mexican history. The bar, made from a vintage roulette wheel, is quite scenic as well, with the energetic crowd, its display of artisanal tequilas and the unique rope canopy overhead. And if you’re fortunate enough to dine in one of the private dining rooms, you’ll be dazzled by the walls covered with shimmering, iridescent abalone tiles. As the only view outside of Javier’s is of flashing slot machines, we think you’ll prefer taking in the Las Vegas restaurant’s visually stunning interior.
