In keeping with the café tradition, Society Café Encore has a wide range of prices for the set chef’s menu and à la carte breakfast, lunch and dinner dining. In fact, we found the prices quite reasonable for these re-imagined gourmet American plates. You can order a three-course prix fixe dinner for just $41, and have a choice of several appetizers (we recommend the mac ’n’ cheese bites with the truffle dipping sauce), a main course (the bone-in cowboy ribeye is $12 extra) and a table dessert (warm donuts that taste like bites of heaven). Our Forbes Travel Guide editors recommend the chef’s menu as a delectable way to get a full range of the taste sensations at Society Café Encore. If you’re looking for a sumptuous breakfast selection, you’ll find classic dishes ranging from the apple cinnamon compote Belgian waffle ($14) to the Oscar Benedict topped with a crab cake and asparagus ($21). For lunch, select from a build-your-own sirloin burger or American Kobe burger ($15-$19) or the tagliatelle with rock shrimp ($22).
Dinner at Society Café Encore is truly a comforting experience when you gaze upon gourmet selections running from $21 to $49 at this Las Vegas restaurant. On our visit, we enjoyed the crab cake Oscar eight-ounce filet mignon settled on a bed of potato and bacon hash and Society steak sauce, topped with asparagus and a refreshing béarnaise and accompanied by a sweet pepper ($47). (You can “Oscar” any Society Café Encore steak for just $9.) Sides, such as truffled potatoes or sweet potato fries, are just $8 each. Society Café Encore also has menus for vegetarians, vegans and those with food allergies; be sure to let the restaurant know at the time you make your reservation if you need one of the special menus.
