This fall and winter, a new slew of shows is set to open on Las Vegas' Strip, bringing everything from country crooners to a new flavor of Cirque du Soleil to Sin City. Here are five new productions to check out:

1. Zarkana, ARIA Resort & Casino Las Vegas
The newest incarnation of Cirque du Soleil follows a character called Zark on his journey to reclaim his powers and love. This new production at Forbes Travel Guide Four-Star ARIA Resort & Casino sports a darker side than most other Cirque du Soleil shows, but still wows with its trapeze acts, contortionists and displays of strength. Opening Nov. 1.

2. Rock of Ages, The Venetian
With the same roster of '80s hair metal tunes that made the Broadway production and small-screen version (which starred Tom Cruise) a hit, this glitzy spectacle includes songs by Bon Jovi, Whitesnake and Journey (in other words, get ready to sing along). Opening Dec. 18.

3. Tim McGraw and Faith Hill Soul2Soul, The Venetian
Country husband-and-wife duo Tim McGraw and Faith Hill will take the stage at The Venetian, singing their way through duets like Let’s Make Love, Just To Hear You Say You Love Me and I Need You, as well as hits from their deep solo catalogs. Opening Dec. 7.

4. Cee Lo Green Presents Loberace, Planet Hollywood Resort & Casino
Showman, Gnarls Barkley singer and The Voice judge Cee Lo Green has crafted a show that directs the audience through a decade’s long journey of famous music, dance and lots and lots of color. Opening Feb. 27, 2013.

5. Shania: Still the One, Caesars Palace
Country music's reigning diva returns from retirement for a series of shows at Caesars Palace, all of which will feature her catalog of hits such as You’re Still the One, Any Man of Mine, From This Moment On, That Don’t Impress Me Much and more. Opening Dec. 1.
