Claridge's Health Club and Spa offers basic refreshments in its waiting area. Relax before your treatment at the spa with some cold lemon water or a hot cup of tea, choosing from a selection of Tea Forté blends. After your massage, your therapist will have a bottle of water and a glass waiting for you in the treatment room.
If you want a post-massage meal, visit Claridge’s The Foyer and The Reading Room. For breakfast, order the eggs royale with smoked salmon and Périgord truffles or the “Healthy,” which includes muesli, a poached egg on rye with avocado, a berry-and-pomegranate salad and a pineapple-apple-ginger juice. For lunch or dinner, both spaces offer fare like a burrata sandwich with caponata and pine nuts on olive bread, or the lobster cobb salad with avocado, bacon, quail eggs and Marie Rose sauce. Or make a reservation for the popular afternoon tea, which includes finger sandwiches with fillings like cucumber and desserts like a panna cotta layered with apple jelly, crumbles and apple foam.
For something more informal, opt for lunch or dinner at Claridge’s Bar, where you can have fish and chips (battered cod with pickled quail eggs and pea puree) or a lobster brioche pizza with samphire and hazelnuts.
