The wet areas at ESPA Life at Corinthia are among the best we’ve seen. While the male and female waiting areas offer their own saunas and steams, there’s also an entire coed thermal floor situated on the bottom floor of the Forbes Travel Guide Four-Star spa. This dreamy, deep-blue space, contrasted with striking white furniture and illuminated by tiny, starry recessed lighting, offers a silvery steel swimming pool with built-in seats, a vitality thermal pool with air and water massage jets, and a large, black mosaic steam room. As with the waiting areas, the thermal floor offers heated stone chaises, but perhaps its most impressive feature is the glass-enclosed, amphitheater-style sauna, the top benches of which are flush with the floor, providing views of the thermal floor on each side. There’s also an ice fountain just outside the sauna for therapeutic use in between long soaks in hot air and water.
