What are the robes and slippers like at The Berkeley Health Club and Spa?

Robes and slippers are kept inside the lockers at The Berkeley Health Club and Spa, so after receiving a quick tour of the facilities, you’ll want to undress and don your spa apparel. The slippers provided are virtually identical to those provided in Berkeley’s guest rooms: ultra-plush and comfortable white microfiber togs, embroidered in gray with the hotel’s logo on the front. They do run slightly larger, though, so if you have tiny feet, prepare to waddle a bit (don’t worry, the rubbery soles will prevent you from slipping). The robes, meanwhile, are a 100 percent cotton, cream-colored waffle weave from Irish company Lissadell. On our last visit to the London spa, our robe had definitely seen better days, as it was fraying all along the belt loop, but the robe itself, like the footwear, was definitely warm and cozy.
