Whether you’re heading to The Berkeley Health Club and Spa to unwind with a Lava Shell Massage or want to energize with a quick dip in the pool, you’ll find an array of refreshments to keep you hydrated and refreshed. Bottled water is available throughout the spa, and by the pool and in the treatment waiting room, you’ll also be able to sip fruit-infused water, loaded with strawberries, grapefruit and lemon. A coffee and tea station offering signature herbal blends from The London Tea Company like rooibos, nutmeg & vanilla and white tea, elderflower & apricot is located at the top of the stairs, and should you want something to nibble on, fresh apples and apricots await you at the refreshment table near the swimming pool. There isn’t a lot of gratis food, though, so if you’re looking for something more substantial, you’ll want to order off the spa menu and dine poolside or on the outdoor terrace. Dig into healthy, flavorful dishes like a tofu and spring onion frittata, tuna and salmon sashimi, sliced melon and Parma ham, poached apricots with coconut sorbet or one of the fruity smoothies on hand. If the weather’s pleasant, the roof over the pool is opened and you’ll find a lovely alfresco setting to enjoy your healthy — yet still unquestionably tasty — repast.
