The beds at Viceroy L’Ermitage Beverly Hills aren’t what you’d find at other Five-Star hotels. Forgoing the staid headboard and bed skirt formula, the Viceroy L’Ermitage Beverly Hills has California king-sized beds are custom-made for the hotel and are set on platforms close to the ground. The low-profile beds are incredibly comfortable, with sleek white Egyptian cotton sheets and a silk sham. Four large white and beige pillows and a long neck roll come standard on the bed, but you can also choose from a menu of five options, including water and Tempur-Pedic pillows. The beds’ wooden bases match the room’s contemporary Asian design as well as the English sycamore paneling installed behind them. The Viceroy L’Ermitage’s beds may look a little different, but you’ll still have everything you need close by — bedside tables are equipped with reading lamps, a telephone and an alarm clock.
