One of our Forbes Travel Guide editors’ favorite shopping experiences in Manila is a visit to San Juan’s Greenhills Shopping Center, where amongst the seemingly endless maze of stalls and shops you’ll find everything from cheap t-shirts, handbags, and fashion accessories to electronics, antiques and jewelry. (This is probably the best spot in town to score necklaces and bracelets made with real Philippine pearls.)
A visit to SM Mall of Asia is a totally different but no less unique experience. The fourth-largest mall in the world, SM Mall of Asia has outlets for countless international retailers, tons of restaurants, an IMAX and 3-D movie theater, 76-lane bowling alley, ice-skating rink and kid-friendly theme park.
