What is involved in The Charlotte Inn’s turndown service?

You don’t have to request turndown service at The Charlotte Inn to receive it. When you come back to your guest room after dinner or being out for the night, you’ll find the room refreshed and set up for you to turn in for the night. Your bedspread is removed and neatly stored, along with the decorative throw pillows. The bed linens are pulled back, the pillows are placed flat, and the reading lights above the bed are left on. Any belongings you left around the room are now straightened and tidied. You’ll also find the bathroom has been cleaned and any amenities you’ve used have been replenished — which of course means that any Bulgari and Hermes products left over at the end of your stay can be thrown in your bag. Any spring water you drank is also replenished, wastebaskets are emptied, and used towels are replaced with clean ones. You’ll fall into a deep slumber after a day out in the sunshine, drinking in the sea air.
