You won’t go hungry during your stay at Turnberry Isle Miami — the resort has four main restaurants, including a small café at the enormous Laguna Pool. Head to James Beard Award-winning chef Michael Mina’s Bourbon Steak for dinner any night of the week. Known for its chops and décor, this Miami steakhouse sports a 12-foot-high glass box entry from the hotel lobby and a wine bottle cork hostess section.
Perched on the golf course, Cascata Grille serves breakfast, lunch and dinner with an Italian twist. Snag a seat on the patio to watch golfers on the fairway or get comfy in the tavern-like interior. Another casual spot is Laguna Grill, which is appropriately located by the Laguna Pool. Chow down on typical poolside fare while you soak up the hot Florida sun.
Sitting at Turnberry Isle’s members-only club Beach Club Grill is a great way to enjoy lunch and take a break from sunbathing. You’ll find a menu of wraps, including the popular grilled island spiced mahi mahi wrap, as well as salads and kids’ fare.
If you want to just nibble and have a few cocktails before dinner, stop into Turnberry Isle’s Lobby Lounge, located just off the lobby and next to Bourbon Steak. The lounge is one of the most elegantly designed areas of the Forbes Travel Guide recommended hotel, complete with crystal chandeliers, marble trim and fresh flowers that adorn the “see and be seen” seating area.
