Actually, there’s no mini bar in your room at Cypress Inn in Carmel. But that doesn’t mean you’ll go thirsty if you want a beverage during your stay. Each room is stocked with a bottle of purified water in the bathroom, as well as a decanter of cream sherry that’s on a little table in the bedroom. And a bowl on a bedside table holds fresh oranges and apples, as well as little bags of honey-roasted peanuts. Should you want more than that to drink or eat, it’s just a short trip to Terry’s Restaurant and Lounge in the center of the property. Terry’s serves a full complement of classic cocktails like martinis and manhattans, wine and beer plus appetizers and dinner. Even though you don’t have a mini bar, you can satisfy any late-night hunger pangs at Cypress Inn.
