There's no bad time of year to visit the Andaz Wall Street hotel in New York. The city always has plenty to see and do, so you can't go wrong visiting year-round. But if we had to choose, we'd recommend the spring and summer months for your stay. Blame the heat, but Manhattan comes alive during this time, and all of New York seems to move outside. This goes for Andaz Wall Street, too. During the summer months, the hotel's onsite bar called Bar Seven Five turns its outside terrace into a beer garden, where drinks and light bites are served. Better yet, the Forbes Travel Guide Recommended hotel hosts its own farmers’ market in the summer. The idea is the brainchild of Andaz Wall Street's purchasing manager — the same guy who started the Union Square farmers’ market, which is now a New York institution during the warmer months. You can venture away from the hotel, too — walk the Brooklyn Bridge, dine alfresco in nearby Tribeca or window shop in Soho. Like we said, New York is better when the heat is on.
