Without a doubt, the best place for nightlife is Sherman Avenue in Coeur d’Alene. Although the social scene in Coeur d’Alene is comparably tame to the action in larger cities, there is still a variety of places to go after dinner for fun and entertainment. For live music and dancing on Friday, Saturday and Monday nights, The Moose, on the corner of 4th and Sherman, rocks with a casual mix of college kids, tourists and locals. The place has a full liquor license, but it’s still the spot of choice to order a Moose Drool beer. Those of you looking to lounge with a drink or two after dinner should consider stopping by the newly remodeled Cellar on Sherman Avenue, too. The Cellar is a fine-dinner destination in its own right but it is also becoming known for its quality entertainment. For a real treat, stop by on a Tuesday night to take in the sounds of soul singer, Max Daniels, who is one of the finest singer-entertainers in the Inland Northwest. Another mellow spot to enjoy quality live music during or after dinner is 315 Martinis and Tapas, which is just a couple of blocks north of Sherman Avenue, located in the beautifully restored and historic Greenbriar Inn. One of the many fine musicians who regularly plays there is recording artist and composer, Darin Schaffer.
