The best way to spend one day on Okinawa is to cruise along the coast to witness its natural beauty. Start off by renting a car and possibly a chauffeur, if driving on the left side of the road doesn't sound appealing.
There are motorways, too, but you’ll want to stick to the roads along the beachline whenever possible, because that’s where you’ll find the best vistas. Nothing beats the combination of driving along the coastline with the turquoise sea on one side and the lush green hills on the other.
Along the way, take time to stop and explore old castles like Shuri Castle (near Naha), temples and waterfalls like Tataki and Tadake Falls.
