I bet you didn’t know that Orlando has a great nightlife. No, you won’t see Mickey Mouse running around painting the town with Goofy, but you will see plenty of locals swarming the many nightlife areas. Orlando is a young and upbeat city, and you will find some great bars in the downtown area. For a rooftop bar, check out One80 Grey Goose Lounge located at the Amway Center. Another great outdoor bar with live music is Ember, a Mediterranean-style lounge with nightly activities. Other great downtown bars to check out are Hooch and The Fifth.

For a craft beer junkie, Redlight Redlight is just the place for you. There is always a variety of brews and plenty available on tap. Down on International Drive, a fun spot for the 21-and-up crowd is Howl at the Moon, a lively piano bar that will keep the crowd pumped all night.

After a long day at the theme parks or the convention hall, chances are you'll be in desperate need of an adult beverage. Thankfully, there are plenty of great watering holes in Orlando to decompress or live it up, whichever you prefer.

Just outside the gates of Walt Disney World you'll find the Reunion Resort and their rooftop lounge known as Eleven. Aside from the incredible view, Eleven serves up tasty hand crafted concoctions and a full menu for dinner. During our recent visit, the Wagyu Beef Sliders and a Manhattan paired perfectly with a trademark Florida sunset.

Although exciting nightlife and Disney may not seem to go together, Jellyrolls at the Boardwalk Resort delivers just that. This dueling piano experience is not only one of the best bars in Orlando, but it practically guarantees a good time every night. Write a request for your favorite song on a napkin - no matter how obscure, they will know it - and by the end of the night, you'll be swinging your glass with the crowd to Piano Man. Tip: Ask about the "Red Cup" drink special. There's a different one each night and will help keep your bar tab in check.

Whether you're looking to relax after a long day or are in need of a good time, Orlando has no shortage of great bars for every occasion.

Whether you’re up for sophisticated martinis or buckets of beers, Orlando has venues for those and everything in between. Beginning just north of downtown, Imperial Wine Bar and Beer Garden is a great place to visit after antiquing and vintage shopping in Ivanhoe Village (previously Orlando’s antique district). Tucked inside Washburn Imports, an exotic furniture store, Imperial features a menu of a few dozen craft beers and atypical wines and hosts a rotating array of local food trucks most nights to satisfy hungry patrons. Traveling south, the Bosendorfer Lounge inside the Grand Bohemian Hotel is the best downtown locale for artful martinis and live jazz. In the International Drive area, Howl at the Moon’s live dueling piano show makes for a rowdy night of drinking buckets of beer or sangria. Finally, a favorite in the Disney area is Raglan Road, an authentic Irish pub located in Downtown Disney. Besides Irish beer flights and frozen Bailey’s shakes, this drinking hole features live music seven nights a week plus hourly Irish dance performances starting at 6pm.
