Believe it or not, Orlando has some of the best shopping selections in the entire state of Florida. From boutiques to high-end designers stores and outlets, Orlando is branding itself as a fashion capital of the Southeast.

Aside from the typical Florida attire of flip-flops and shorts, Orlandonians are surprisingly stylish folks. If you’re looking for a mall environment, The Mall at Millenia has some of the best designer stores, such as Louis Vuitton, Chanel and Gucci, along with delicious restaurants and thriving nightclubs. Orlando also has two outlet malls that will blow your mind: The Prime Outlets and The Premium Outlets. There you can find stores such as Saks Fifth Avenue, Forever 21, Barneys New York and so much more. Down on the other side of Orlando is where you’ll find the Park Ave. strip of independently owned boutiques with all the latest trends that you can’t find in the malls. Consider this area the “it” place for fashion.

When it comes to deals, we are so spoiled in Orlando with the Premium Outlets, which are spread across two locations—Vineland and International Drive—that collectively house more than 300 stores. Diehard fashionistas with marathon stamina can conquer them both in the same day thanks to the trolley that connects them. You won’t find many bargains at Mall at Millenia, but the well-heeled shoppers that flock there don’t seem to mind; they’re just happy to find brands like Tiffany & Co., Louis Vuitton, and Gucci all under the same swanky roof. On those days when you just want to wander and see what you might find, head to Park Avenue, the bricked Winter Park shopping and dining district that’s become a favorite for people who love one-off boutiques and quirky specialty stores.

While my fellow experts are correct that Orlando is home to plenty of great shopping for high fashion, many visitors will invariably find themselves on the hunt for the perfect souvenir. For that, the best shopping in Orlando is undoubtedly found at Downtown Disney. Specifically the enormous World of Disney store, where one can literally find everything under the Mouse's sun. From stuffed animals to t-shirts with jewelry and fine art in between, the World of Disney carries it all. They will even ship your purchases home to save you the hassle of bringing them back on the plane, or complicating your efforts to repack the car with the additional baggage.

Also inside the World of Disney is a section dubbed "Bippity Boppity Boutique" where little ones can have a full makeover into their favorite prince or princess. A memory they will no doubt keep for quite some time, making it possibly the best souvenir of all.
