A chic Parisian garden spa
8 Treatments Rooms
Filled with natural light, Spa Le Bristol by La Prairie is a serene escape within Paris. It’s located on one of the most illustrious streets in the city (Faubourg Saint-Honoré) inside the sumptuous Le Bristol Paris, and the aesthetic here is as chic as the fashion houses that surround the hotel — the design is streamlined and unfussy with a cool neutral color palette. Feeling somewhat like a resort spa rather than a city spa, the eight treatment rooms, including a couples suite with a private whirlpool and steam room, have floor-to-ceiling sliding glass doors that offer views of an interior garden. Tinted glass allows you to enjoy the flower-filled space with the utmost privacy. Post-treatment tea and fruit can be enjoyed on the small garden terraces adjoining each of the rooms.
When Le Bristol partnered with La Prairie, it became the only spa in Paris with treatments using the beloved Swiss beauty brand. As a pioneer in anti-aging products, La Prairie implements luxurious ingredients such as caviar, platinum and gold serum into its facials and body services. With body treatments and rituals exclusively developed for Le Bristol, the Paris spa offers its worldly guests unique experiences.
A wide variety of massages are available and range from 45 to 80 minutes. Reflexology, aromatherapy, prenatal, osteopathy and Russian (which incorporates hot, vodka-drenched towels) are just a few of the specialty massages. In addition, body polishing and detoxifying treatments are offered using Organic Pharmacy products, some of which were specially created for Le Bristol.
A separate Russian Room is dedicated to Baniya-style treatments and is outfitted with a private hammam, shower and heated marble table. An expert Russian masseuse uses the benefits of hot and cold therapy in the various scrubs, massages and wraps administered with Russie Blanche products.
Other spa services include manicures, pedicures, waxing and eyelash and eyebrow tinting. Packages with names like Midnight in Paris and From Russian with Love combine some of the luxury spa’s signature treatments for those looking for the ultimate in pampering — think champagne and bath soaks and heavenly massages all had in one treatment suite. A major bonus for those with kids in tow? The spa’s supervised children’s play room means parents can truly relax while indulging in a treatment.
A hair salon caters to both genders. For men, a grooming salon features a barber offering traditional services, while ladies are cut and styled by internationally renowned stylists. Le Bristol chose a line created by the former creative director for YSL Beauté, Terry de Gunzburg, for beauty products — day or night, you can have makeup professionally applied using By Terry products.
The gym (which is reserved for hotel guests) is filled with weights and state-of-the-art cardio equipment, including bikes, treadmills and elliptical machines. Private personal trainers are available, as are outdoor workout sessions in the area’s parks. Aqua fitness classes and swimming lessons are offered as well. Resembling a yacht, the wood-paneled pool overlooking the Eiffel Tower, Sacré-Coeur and Paris rooftops is only open to Le Bristol guests and is simply stunning.
