The Quad Cities is made up of five different locations straddling the Iowa and Illinois border along the Mississippi River, and there are a couple of top hotels in the area. In fact, it might be the most stylish place to stay in town. Rooms are outfitted in rich earth tones and contemporary décor. The first floor Bix Bistro offers a charming Sunday brunch, complete with live jazz and unlimited mimosas and bloody mary’s. If you’d like to play a round, the hotel can arrange for an exclusive tee time at the TPC Deere Run golf course. The hotel’s basement bowling alley is a family favorite.
