Conceived in the style of an English estate, The Claremont Hotel Club & Spa has a romantic, old world charm. The white Tudor-style façade harkens back to the privately owned castle that was originally on the property. You can imagine the horse-drawn carriages arriving at the entry of the Forbes Travel Guide Recommended hotel and the full-skirts of early 20th-century guests billowing down the wide hallways. Chandeliers hang from the ceiling of the grand main lobby, where a grand piano sits in the middle and photographs of the resort’s famous guests line the walls. But not everything is about the past. While the Claremont has maintained a great sense of its history, it has been fully restored and updated.
