A sense of calm and relaxation washes over you immediately upon entering the T Spa, Tulalip Resort Casino’s 14,000-square-feet sanctuary. On the resort’s second floor, the T Spa is removed from the bustle and din of the first floor’s casino. Soft floral aromas waft through the space, which feels intimate despite its ranking as one of the largest in Washington. Just past the front desk, you’ll feel transported to a peaceful Northwest forest, thanks to decorative touches in the way of birch trees, river stones, native plants, and photos of local scenery. Candles, dim lights and gas fireplaces contribute to the tranquility.
You can choose from several treatments here, many of which draw inspiration from Native American traditions, including the cedar saunas, eucalyptus steam rooms, ritual milk baths and well-being bath rituals that incorporate locally inspired scents such as lavender and juniper. Whatever you choose, you’ll have the opportunity to relax in one of 16 private treatment rooms. A menu with small bites plus red and white wines is also available to spa guests.
The Spa Store near the entrance carries several items exclusive to the Seattle spa. Thalgo products are sourced from the ocean, which speaks to the Tulalip Tribe’s water-based culture. Many products are available in travel size, so you can continue the spa experience at home or in your private room at the resort.
