The service at Roosevelt Prime Steakhouse is unobtrusive. Servers are knowledgeable and always there when you need them, but they never hover. Although the clientele at the recommended restaurant is mainly local Chinese, all servers speak English. Roosevelt Prime Steakhouse serves prime cuts of meat at premium prices, and the servers make that clear in both their dress and decorum. Everyone wears a waistcoat and bow tie. They handle wine bottles delicately and inquire after dishes once they’ve been served. The restaurant’s standout dish, excluding the steaks, is its Caesar salad for two, prepared tableside. A plate is brought around with all the salad ingredients and you can choose what you like including anchovies, Parmesan and brioche croutons. Everything is then mixed up and served in big white bowls. The romaine is crispy, the croutons crunchy and the dressing is just fragrant enough.
