Sushi Oyama has a bar but it’s dedicated to sushi, which means the people seated around it are more occupied by food than drink. The square lacquered space houses chef Takeo Oyama and his two assistants, where they professionally and efficiently slice and dice fish of all manners and colors. With room for only 14 diners, seats at the sushi bar are hard to snag and much coveted among foodies. If you are in the mood for a drink, the restaurant has an impressive selection of sakes and plum wines, as well as beer and a wide selection of wine that comes from the Spanish wine shop on the first floor.
