Sushi Oyama is best for small groups. While Sushi Oyama recently expanded its main dining room capacity from 14 to 30, the restaurant is still incredibly intimate and cozy. They do have six private dining rooms on the second floor, but they feel a little too snug for large groups. Plus, Sushi Oyama is a temple where you worship food perfection and you want to be in the main dining room to see where the magic happens. Therefore, one should only go to Sushi Oyama with other likeminded people with whom you’re willing to spend long hours. Also, there is only one option on the menu so picky eaters will have a tough time.
