No fireworks besides the flavors on the plate and the extreme precision of each cut. Each dish is presented on a handmade plate or bowl (each unique) in which the colors and textures beautifully enhance the food each holds. Chef Takeo Oyama is very aware of the balance of color and proportion (as well as flavor) for each dish. Even something as simple as tuna over rice with a quails egg comes sprinkled with a little fresh green onion to enhance the color and overall attractiveness of the whole arrangement.
