The Estate at the Elderberries is conveniently located near the south entrance of Yosemite National Park (approximately a 25-minute drive from Oakhurst). This grand national park is considered our biggest attraction in the area and a very big reason why guests come to visit. The park provides magnificent landscapes, great hikes and numerous activities in summer and winter.
In summer, guests can also enjoy water sports at nearby Bass Lake (approximately a 20-minute drive from the estate) or can explore Route 49, which is considered the former gold rush route from Mariposa north to Sonora. This drive is especially recommended during the spring when the wildflowers are blooming and transform the whole landscape into a painter’s palette of vibrant colors.
