Internationally recognized as a culinary innovator, José Andrés is a James Beard Award-winning chef and owner of ThinkFoodGroup. TFG is the team responsible for Washington D.C.’s renowned dining concepts Jaleo, Zaytinya, Oyamel, minibar by josé andrés, barmini by José Andrés and his Pepe food truck. His portfolio also includes The Bazaar by José Andrés at the SLS Hotels in Beverly Hills and South Beach. Andrés serves as culinary director for the SLS luxury hotel brand. In 2009, Andrés and TFG partnered with one of D.C.’s premier caterers to create José Andrés Catering with Ridgewells. He also has China Poblano, Jaleo and é by José Andrés at The Cosmopolitan in Las Vegas. Andrés’ ThinkFoodGroup also oversees his creative endeavors such as cookbooks, television programming, project development, education and philanthropy. In 2012, Andrés opened Mi Casa at Dorado Beach, A Ritz-Carlton Reserve in Puerto Rico. He's adding yet another restaurant to his repetoire in spring 2014: American Eats Tavern will debut at The Ritz-Carlton, Tysons Corner in McLean, Virginia.
