Guests can choose from three restaurants at Mirror Lake Inn Resort & Spa. The View Restaurant is its classic dining room, an expansive space that allows for more formal dinners with stunning views of the Adirondacks’ High Peaks. Evenings may feature upscale farm fare such as Hudson Valley foie gras with Minus 8 vinegar glaze, local honey, black Tellicherry pepper, fig and cherry conserve and challah crisps, but The View is also where you’ll find the resort’s hearty Adirondack breakfast buffet most weekends. Täste Bistro, adjacent to The View, has a handsome bar, a casual menu (shareable plates include oysters Rockefeller and fried Brussels sprouts) and live music on weekends as well as cozy couches and nooks for laid-back conversation. The Cottage, across the street from the inn, is a lively lakeside pub, with an extensive drink list, lighter fare for snacks or informal meals and a broad porch that, in fair weather, accommodates diners who want to enjoy the scene en plein air.
