The design style of Templar Hotel combines elegance and minimalism with artistic and rustic touches. The lobby is primarily white and beige in color, with two oversized taupe armchairs sitting beneath bicycles hung on one wall; a poignant pop of color is seen in the bright blue wheels of one of the bikes, and the raised wooden reception desk sits affront a wall lined with white Carrera marble. The guest elevator is lined with textured wood paneling, and similar textures of stone inlays can be found on the walls within many guest rooms. Templar’s rooms themselves are similarly simple in design, with strong focal points to draw your eye: One large rectangular piece of art in each room stands out against the Honduran Ipe wood floors, low wood beds topped with muted white and pale blue linens and long, thin wooden desks.
