The Lodge at Vail’s finest rooms and suites are located in the International Wing. Dressed in autumn colors and featuring gas fireplaces, these rooms also feature oversize bathrooms with double vanities, large tubs, separate showers and water closets. The Executive suites have a separate bedroom with a gas fireplace. Rooms in the original building are bit more compact, with colorful red and gold accents in the spreads, pillows and chairs. Some of the hotel's one- to three-bedroom condominiums have Murphy beds. Several rooms on the property are designated pet friendly. The most sought-after lodging is found in the slopeside über-luxe Chalets at the Vail hotel. Only three of these winter wonderlands are available for rent through the Lodge. Each four-story, five-bedroom unit has a private elevator, large living rooms with valley views, a gourmet kitchen with Viking appliances and a host of other posh touches.
