The Pan Pacific Vancouver is located on the waterfront in downtown Vancouver, a short walk from the city-center office towers, attractions, and department stores, and from the funkier boutiques, bars, and restaurants in the historic Gastown district. The hotel is part of the Canada Place complex, which includes the cruise ship terminal, as well as the east building of the Vancouver Convention Centre (the center’s newer west building is a block away), so it’s a convenient place to stay for both ocean-bound passengers and convention-goers. Waterfront Station, a hub for the city’s SkyTrain system and the departure point for the SeaBus ferry to North Vancouver, is one block from the Pan Pacific. A waterfront path extends from Canada Place and the hotel past the nearby floatplane terminal to Stanley Park.
