Where is the best outlet shopping in Vancouver?

Vancouver’s outlet scene is just starting to see the bold names of its US counterparts. Queensborough Landing, about half hour outside of Vancouver in the suburb of New Westminster, is attracting a lot of attention among Vancouver’s fashion set. The selection of stores is definitely sufficient for an afternoon of retail therapy: Gap, Banana Republic, Aldo, Mexx, Roots, Calvin Klein, Le Chateau and Quiksilver, to name a few. There are also plenty of casual spots to refuel mid-spree.

To get a more luxury outlet experience, cross the border to the Seattle Premium Outlets, home to the most-sought after brands like Burberry, Lacoste, DKNY, J.Crew and Max Azria. And it’s not just about stocking the closet: home décor is well-represented with Restoration Hardware and Le Creuset. About 2 hours from Vancouver, do budget for the border wait (tune into a local radio station for updates), be sure to bring your passport (you can’t cross the US/Canada border without it) and keep your receipts.
