The 100 generously-sized suites at the Oak Bay Beach Hotel mix Old English style with modern conveniences. The beds, either one king or two queens with classic mahogany frames, are topped with white sheets and white duvets; the adjacent mahogany night tables have convenient reading lamps. All rooms have an electric fireplace and a flat-screen television. Both local telephone calls and Wi-Fi are complimentary. The spacious bathrooms are designed for pampering, with heated tile floors and double sinks, as well as both a deep soaker tub and a separate glass-enclosed rain shower. Many of the rooms have a window, with a shutter you can close, between the bathroom and the sleeping area.

All the units at the Oak Bay Beach Hotel have kitchen facilities. The basic guest rooms have a kitchenette with a refrigerator, microwave, coffeemaker, and electric teakettle, while the larger units have either a galley kitchen that also contains a two-burner cooktop and a dishwasher, or a full kitchen.

Some of the guest rooms face the street and surrounding neighborhood, and with their large windows still feel bright and airy, but the best units, many with private terraces, look out to sea. The panoramic views from the water-facing rooms — overlooking the hotel grounds and mineral pools, and out to the surrounding ocean and islands — are spectacular.
